Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Professional to join our team at a prominent financial center. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment, preventing theft and fraud, and ensuring the safety of all personnel and customers. This position requires excellent observational skills, strong communication abilities, and the capacity to respond effectively to emergencies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and patrol the financial center premises to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.

• Conduct regular inspections of security systems, including alarms, surveillance cameras, and access control systems.

• Provide exceptional customer service while interacting with clients, employees, and visitors.

• Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, and emergencies, coordinating with law enforcement and emergency services as necessary.

• Prepare detailed reports of security incidents, observations, and activities, ensuring documentation is accurate and timely.

• Assist in the implementation of security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.

• Conduct security training and awareness programs for staff to promote a culture of safety and security.

• Manage access control procedures, ensuring only authorized personnel are granted entry to restricted areas.

• Investigate and resolve security breaches, thefts, and other incidents in collaboration with management.

• Stay informed about current security trends, technologies, and best practices to enhance the effectiveness of security operations.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in security management or related fields is preferred.

• Proven experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field, preferably within a financial institution.

• Strong understanding of security protocols, emergency response procedures, and risk assessment.

• Excellent observational skills with the ability to remain calm and focused in high-pressure situations.

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with diverse individuals.

• Proficiency in using security technology and equipment, including surveillance systems and access control software.

• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.

• Valid security guard license or certification, as mandated by state regulations.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods.

• Capable of lifting and carrying items up to 20 pounds.

• Ability to respond quickly to emergencies and perform physical tasks as needed.
